SZN
est. 2024
Born in the Alps
We built SZN during our time working in Morzine, where we experienced firsthand how challenging it was to find the perfect ski job.
Endless scrolling, confusing job posts, and not knowing where to look left us feeling frustrated. It was clear the process was broken—and we weren’t the only ones who felt this way.
After talking with our manager and coworkers, we realised these struggles were shared by both candidates and employers alike. That’s when we decided to create SZN: a platform designed to streamline seasonal hiring and make the process effortless for everyone.
why we built SZN
01
Finding Work Should be Easy.
If you’ve ever searched for a seasonal job, you know the struggle—endless scrolling, scattered job posts, and no clear way to tell which roles are legit. Employers don’t have it any easier. They spend hours sifting through mismatched applications or relying on word-of-mouth hires, hoping for the best.
There was no one place that brought both sides together, and that meant missed opportunities for workers and staffing headaches for businesses. That’s why we created SZN—to streamline hiring, take the guesswork out of the process, and connect the right people to the right jobs, effortlessly.
02
Employers Deserve Better Tools.
Most hiring software is overpriced and designed for office jobs—not for fast-moving seasonal industries. Ski resorts, yacht crews, and hospitality teams need industry-specific tools to find the right talent fast.
SZN delivers. With applicant tracking, relevant filters, and automated compliance checks, we make it easy to screen for real experience—like driving in alpine conditions, managing a ski rental shop, or running a high-pressure kitchen.
No more wasted time sorting through unqualified applicants. Just the right people, ready to work.
03
Work and Travel Can Be a Real Lifestyle.
Work is changing. More people are ditching the traditional 9-to-5 in favour of travel, flexibility, and adventure.
SZN is for the next generation of workers—people who want to spend their winters on the slopes and their summers by the sea. Whether you’re making seasonal work your full-time career or using it to explore before settling down, we’re here to help you find jobs that fit the way you want to live.
Putting a World of Opportunities into Your Hands.
Applying for a ranch job in Peru should be just as simple as any 'normal job'
And that ranch in Peru should have a global talent pool at its fingertips, with tools to streamline hiring every step of the way. SZN makes it easy for employers to connect with skilled candidates and for workers to find life-changing opportunities.
Meet the team

George Gray – Co-Founder
I started skiing at the age of four and have always dreamed of doing a ski season. My time working in the Alps was unforgettable, and now we’re on a mission to make this incredible lifestyle more accessible to others. I hold a degree in Business Economics from Exeter University and have gained diverse industry experience through a variety of internships, ranging from startups to finance to photography.
In my free time, I enjoy getting my hopes up watching Arsenal play football, spending time with family and friends, and (funnily enough) skiing.

Tyler Cant – Co-Founder
I’ve now completed two winter seasons across two very different countries, but ultimately, I’ve fallen in love with the mountains and the lifestyle that surrounds them. I’ve always believed someone is lucky if they can match their career with their passion – that’s why I’ve worked so hard trying to find that, and I feel I have with SZN.
Coming from an economics and finance background, I often look for inefficiencies, and the ski season recruitment industry is extremely inefficient. That’s why we are making the process simpler than ever. We have created a system that takes away the stress and anxiety and gives control back to the user. It really has never been easier than now with SZN.

Dominic Deely – Co-Founder
I have an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Exeter, having also completed a placement year at TSB Bank as an Analyst. These experiences have necessitated a passion of mine for problem solving, and that is why I am so passionate about SZN: we are tackling the key issues around hiring seasonaires.
I was introduced to skiing at a young age and absolutely fell in love with the mountain lifestyle, being lucky enough to ski in places like Verbier, Niseko and Whistler. The recent season I completed in Morzine has only multiplied my deep feelings for the mountains, and therefore I am so passionate about the opportunity of making these once in a lifetime experiences more accessible to others through SZN.

Katie Banks – Head of Employer Accounts
My first winter season was 2019/20, and I still say it was the best four months of my life. Cut short by Covid, I decided to stick it out in Morzine and try to make living here work. Four years later, I’m very happy and proud to say I get to call this place ‘home.’
With a wealth of experience in recruitment, marketing, and working in the alpine hospitality industry myself, I understand your goals and frustrations. I’m here to help you streamline your processes, improve your quality of hire, and make recruitment for your next SZN as efficient and stress-free as possible.
